“I am writing to let you know how pleased we are with the Zi-400 Industrial you supplied for our application. We have a 300m by 50mm pipeline used to carry Naphtha from the processing plant to a storage tank.

Over time this line has been clogged up with a very viscous Glycol based material that had built up on the inside of the pipeline causing a 5mm reduction of internal diameter. And subsequently a differential pressure of 480 kps pressure drop on the line.

We had planned to clean this line with caustics and solvents but due to the difficult nature of the products and the safety concerns dealing with portable pumps and lines the decision was made to try Zi-400.

Because your product is non-flammable, environmentally friendly and doesn’t pose any hazardous concerns we decided to try it on this line. We mixed the Zi-400 to 10 parts to 1 and proceeded to pump it backwards and forwards through the line.

On completion of reverse flushing on several occasions the line was flushed with water and air dried the line was then put back into operation. As a result the pressure in the line had dropped from 480 kpa to 230 kpa (normal operating pressure).

I would find it very difficult that this task could have been achieved over the same time if caustics and solvents were used. Furthermore, the fact that the safety and environmental aspect was reduced made the task less of a risk.

I would not hesitate recommending this product to anyone who has similar applications or where safety and environmental issues are paramount.
